The Cameo opened on Christmas Day, 1940. It was a latecomer in Orlando's theatres and was located just a block west of the Vogue Theatre. Open for only a few years, the Cameo sat abandoned for years. Today, it is experiencing a revival of sorts - hosting performances, parties of artistic expression.
